We can be impacted by many areas of life: our childhood experiences, parental and family relationships, damaging and limiting self- beliefs, physical difficulties, unhealthy habits and unhelpful coping, addictions, difficult situational events and experiences; loss of employment, relationship issues, divorce, bereavement, work stress, burnout, societal, cultural and familial pressures, identity issues, sexuality issues. All of these, amongst other things, can contribute to dis-ease and dis-comfort stopping us from truly living. We might be struggling in the form of low energy and low mood, feeling hopeless and helpless, struggling with sleep, worries and anxieties, self- image issues, rejection, frustration, worthlessness and other difficult emotions.
Your counsellor can guide you through these experiences and empower you to overcome them. Counselling provides a way for you to gain clarity, reconnect with yourself, develop helpful strategies and produce positive change.
